Winner of multiple prestigious property awards, Val de Vie Estate has just received another accolade as its Gentleman’s Estates have collectively been named the second most exclusive estate in South Africa for 2015 by Hurst & Wills and New World Wealth.

Neethling says the Gentleman’s Estates, being the latest property development to be added under the Val de Vie brand, range from 1.2ha to 3.53ha and are currently being developed.

According to Ryk Neethling, Val de Vie’s marketing director, the selection process was purely based on estates’ appeal to the wealthy, which would generally be influenced by elements such as security, location, lifestyle offerings and scenery.

The Gentleman’s Estates, being the latest property development to be added under the Val de Vie brand, range from 1.2ha to 3.53ha and are currently being developed.

These smallholdings will allow owners the opportunity to cultivate vineyards, olive groves, organic vegetables and the like, or to keep horses or certain breeds of livestock.

Thus, he says these estates cater perfectly to those who wish to enjoy all the perks of farm life, without the stresses of commercial farming and with the added benefit of the estate’s outstanding security.

Neethling says Val de Vie has been a popular choice for families from all corners of the country, as well as for expats wanting to invest in South African property.

“In the past year, we have launched a number of residential offerings, also including Polo Villageand The Vines, and we are pleased that the latest of Val de Vie’s developments, Gentleman’s Estates, has received such esteemed recognition.”

Further indicating the appeal of this property offering, 75% of the Gentleman’s Estates were sold within the first two months following the launch date.

Home to the ‘Safest House in Africa’, Val de Vie has something rare to offer in terms of security, as well location and lifestyle, says Neethling.

Dr Andrew Golding, chief executive of the Pam Golding Property Group, says ideally situated in the Paarl-Franschhoek Valley, Val de Vie Estate falls within a highly successful farming area, just 30 minutes from Cape Town, allowing residents the best of both worlds.

“Residents at Val de Vie can reap the rewards and satisfaction of tilling the land while enjoying an idyllic lifestyle on one of South Africa’s most successful estates.”

Home to the ‘Safest House in Africa’, Val de Vie has something rare to offer in terms of security, as well location and lifestyle, he says.

Renowned for its excellent wines, world-class polo grounds and other offerings such as a health club with gym, squash and tennis courts, plus heated indoor pool and top-quality restaurant, Val de Vie has added a highly attractive element with this agricultural offering.

“The essence of these properties reiterates that which we’ve poured our hearts into prioritising as an estate: life lived close to nature, with a range of excellent amenities on one’s doorstep, world-class security and the freedom to enjoy one’s surroundings. ‘Life worth living’, as we like to say,” says Neethling.
