Western Cape Darling Music Festival for a Family Day Out
Enjoy the fun side of classical music at the Darling Music Experience in the Western Cape from 29 January to 14 February 2016.
Music lovers can enjoy open concerts, musical dinners, piano battles, jazz in the garden and so much more at this year’s instalment of the West Coast’s classical music festival.
Music lovers can enjoy open concerts, musical dinners, piano battles, jazz in the garden and so much more at this year’s instalment of the West Coast’s classical music festival.
The music on offer varies between classical and contemporary chamber music, popular choir works and jazz. These will be performed by the DME Festival Chamber Orchestra, the Darling Festival Quartet, the Darling Festival Choir, Westcoast Jazz and others.
The venues for the concerts vary between Darling’s old Presbyterian Church, the modern Vereenigende Reformeerde Kerk, a picturesque wine estate and a factory turned music hall.
For the kids, organisers have put together the Darling Music Experience Olympiad, a musical fun rally that they can enjoy while their parents take part in a Musical Wine Tasting Tour.
